An address book application for storing and sharing contact information in a multiuser environment.

Features:

This module adds a self contained address book system to a Drupal website. The address book is designed for use in a multiple user environment where users wish to share contact information with others (e.g. in a company/organization environment).

• Roles system including: (i) regular users who can create and manage own contacts, as well as see other publicly viewable contacts in the system; and (ii) administrators who can manage other users' contacts.
• Can assign contacts to a particular event so one can look up contacts based on the event where you first met that contact.
• Import and export of contacts in CSV format (currently tested on MS Outlook 2010 and Mozilla Thunderbird CSV formats).
• Contacts can be publicly visible (i.e. seen by all users) or privately visible (i.e. only visible to contact owner).
• Use of colored icons to easily differentiate between own contacts and those of others.
• System can be optionally configured so that private contacts can not be seen by administrators.
• System can be optionally configured so that publicly visible contacts will remain in the system even if the original user has been deleted.
• Users can customize which items of contact information to display in a particular view.
• Contacts can be grouped by organization name or event (i.e. the event where a particular contact was first meet).
• live search function which enables dynamic filtering of contacts (great when trying to find a contact from among a list of many).
• Email mailing list creation. Provides basic functionality to create a list of email addresses which can then be copy and pasted into an email.

A helper module providing a function to be used in themeing or module building facilitating the detection of menu trails.

Description

There are several modules and suggestions for a path-based attribution of the "active" or "active-trail" class for links. Contrary to the substring-based method in e.g. Menu Trail By Path, this module first explodes pairs of pathes into arrays of arguments separated by "/" before it checks one against the other. Thus it avoids confusions resulting from partial word matchings like "grape => grapefruit". Finding an ordered intersection between current path alias and link path, it will attribute an "active" class to the latter. For example, a link pointing to "fruit/grape" will be flagged as active, if the current path is "fruit/grape/burgundy"; if the current path is "fruit/grapefruit" or "fruit/burgundy" it will be not. If the current path is an unaliased node path ('node/27'), there will be no effect at all. (For a content-based assignment of nodes to menu items, Menu trails does a good job.)

Commerce Addressbook is a module that allows authenticated customers to reuse
previously entered addresses during checkout.
They can manage all entered addresses in their user panel (user/%user/addressbook).

Note that for data consistency reasons editing a previously entered address
won't change it on previously made orders.

Status

The 7.x-3.x version offers UX improvements and is currently the active development version for new features.

Difference between 2.x and 3.x

User's default customer profile will now be displayed below the address selection list in a "read-only" mode (we're no longer trying to refresh the field values after selecting a profile).
If you need to make some changes to an existing customer profile, you'll be able to using an "Edit" button.
A new option has been added to the select list ( "+ Enter a new address") that will let you explicitly specify a new address.
