Maintains references between an entity and its reference fields based on UUID values. This can be useful when importing nodes via the "node export" or "feeds" module.
When inserting or updating an entity, you can pass a "uuid" value next to the "nid" or "tid" value of the reference field. This tells the module not to trust the actual "nid" or "tid" value, and it will try to resolve a new value based upon the "uuid".
