This project was created to integrate the PagSeguro API(a Brazilian payment provider) purely into Drupal, so that any modules that want to use PagSeguro can extend it, without reinventing the API integration, like once was with Ubercart integration, Commerce integration and so on.
This way, we hope to make the API integration itself more maintainable and easier to use, so that the adoption of Drupal as an e-commerce platform grow up in Brazil, as PagSeguro is one of the key players of the payment providers market.
