Commerce line item addon is a Rules-based module that provides actions and a condition for adding line items to an order and managing them.
Action: Add a line item to an order
You can choose a line item type and a price component type, and this action will handle creating the line item and adding it to the order so that the total gets updated properly.
Action: Delete line items of a given type from an order
Fairly self-explanatory; useful for making sure that users only end up with one line item of the specified type, similar to how Shipping module handles things.
Condition: Order has line item type
Determine whether an order has a line item of the given type.
