The field collection module provides two widgets - hidden and embedded.
For large field collections with many fields, the embedded widget is often unsuitable, resulting in an overly complex editing UI, however it is the only widget the allows the order of items to be changed.
This module is an alternative to the hidden widget but provides a list of field collection values and a means to rearrange them using drag and drop.
Goal
An issue exists in field collection and this module has been adapted and submitted as a patch. Please test it there.
