Sometimes building menu structure we have a problem when handling several menu items with the same path. This causes that active links are duplicated and as a result active trail can be incorrect.
Unique menu items is a Drupal module which solves this problem creating new unique links that lead to the same content as the original path.

Main features

  • Generating aliases automatically from menu tree.
  • Marking page as copy (using link to canonical page) for search engines which preventing content re-indexation.

NOTE: Generated items will not have tabs (such as "View","Edit" for nodes).
