Synopsis
This module aims to make Github's Emoji smileys available in Drupal through the Smiley module.
Features
- Auto-detects the smileys published in Github's gemoji library, and tells the smiley module where to find them.
- Uses the Emoji codes documented on the Emoji cheat sheet.
Requirements
- The Smiley module, version 7.x-2.x or better.
- Github's gemoji library.
Roadmap
The 1.x branch provides the Smiley module with the Emoji available in the gemoji library.
Since this module auto-detects the smileys in the library it integrates with, it might already do everything it needs to! However, if there are changes to the gemoji library that stop it from working, I'll make the necessary changes.

I don't know of any problems at this time, so if you find one, please let me know by adding an issue!

Maintaining a project can be a lot of work, and the current co-maintainers of this project have full-time jobs, are not paid to maintain this module, and maintain a few other projects besides this one.
More co-maintainers to help triage issues, test patches for regressions, and add features would be greatly appreciated and would help us to resolve issues faster! If you are interested in becoming a co-maintainer, please open an issue asking to become one!

Dependencies
This module does not depend on an external service (e.g. SaaS) to be fully functional.
However, it does depend on a third-party library, Github's gemoji library.
Restrictions
This module has no artificial restrictions: the version available from Drupal.org has full functionality. No paid version is available.
