Geograph UK & Ireland

Overview

The Geograph Britain and Ireland project (http://www.geograph.org.uk) aims to collect geographically representative photographs and information for every square kilometre of Great Britain and Ireland.

The Geograph module integrates with the details API provided by the Geograph Britain and Ireland project to embed photos into Drupal websites.

Features

• Provides a field 'Geograph image', accepting Image ID's from Geograph website.
• Downloads photos to Drupals public files directory to avoid bandwidth leaching.
• Allows photos to be shown in a variety of formats ranging from a simple text url, to full markup including title, comments and copyright & licencing information.
• Provides an input filter 'Geograph image'.

Photo licenses

Under the Creative Commons Licence, all photos used must be credited to their author. Find out how to reuse images. The default option for this module will add the required credit, however if this is not used you will need to ensure arrangments are made for complying with the license.
