Acquia Cloud Site Factory provides an environment and a robust set of tools that simplify management of many Drupal sites, allowing you to quickly deliver and manage any number of websites.

If you’re a Site Factory PaaS subscription customer, adding this module to your Drupal 7 distribution connects your website to Acquia Cloud Site Factory and enables several features, including the following:

  • Single sign-on with Site Factory user accounts
  • Generic and extensible scrubbing when staging sites
  • Endpoints for the Site Factory to run tasks such as site updates
  • Cron tools for Site Factory-hosted sites

Note: The Drupal Gardens distribution included with Acquia Cloud Site Factory already includes this module.
