The Field Embed module allows you to embed a field within another field. This is best used when you need to include complex field layering in a WYSIWYG, or if you have a special style to apply to fields if they're inside main WYSIWYG content.

Installation

  1. Unpack the field_embed folder and contents in the appropriate modules directory of your Drupal installation.
  2. 2. Enable the field_embed module on the Modules admin page.
  3. 3. Next, configure your sites' text formats (admin/config/content/formats) to use the 'Field embed' filter. Usually you'll want to place the Field Embed filter at the bottom of your filter stack to ensure proper inclusion of
    tags.

    Basic Usage

    The Field Embed filter provides a custom filter that scans field values for extra fields to embed. The filter looks for the format [[field_name:(field_machine_name):(view mode)]]. View mode is an optional parameter.
