Bear Homepage is a Features package that provides an exported page manager configuration for an easy to configure custom homepage.

Bear Homepage comes with a built in Bear Slideshow views content pane for easy setup of a homepage slideshow. The front variable in Site Configuration is also set by strongarm for the new homepage.
Bear Homepage is an optional feature for the Bear Starter Kit.
Dependencies
There is only 1 dependency for Bear Homepage, bear_show, as a Bear Slideshow view pane is added to the homepage panel by default.
