GeoNames Hierarchical Select

The GeoNames Hierarchical Select module provides a field for selecting administrative divisions from geonames.org.
It uses the children web service to populate a series of select lists.
Users can select region, country, state/province, county, etc.

There are many field and display settings for fine-grain control.

Field Settings:

• Lowest administrative level: Region or Country
• Highest administrative level: Country up to 5th level (for France and Germany)
• Level Settings:
  • Set as required
  • Required error message
  • Select list label
  • Empty option label
  • Select list display: Block, Inline, or Inline-Break

Display Settings:

• Show or hide a level
• Level label
• Separator between levels
• Separator between items (for unlimited values)

This module requires the GeoNames API module and is compatible with the Field Collection module.
