The goal for this project is adding the ability to apply image styles on inline images (a new feature added in Drupal 8) in a way similar to how image styles are applied on image fields.
For each text format you can enable and configure a new input filter that looks for inline images and applies the selected image style on them.
Optionally, you can link inline images to the original image file or to the image processed with some other image style.
