Functionality
This module will add a protect checkbox to each node create and edit form and if checked, override the node_delete functionality to never delete or edit (depending on settings) a protected node.
Future
The goal in the future is to allow it to disappear from ever being displayed, in that in the config the protect functionality could be set to soft delete and node which is to mark as deleted so that they are hidden from all views within the site with the exception of users with the view protected deleted content permissions.
Protect types:
- Never delete and not mark as deleted
- Never allow edits
- Mark as deleted upon deletion keep actual content in db.
