Overview
This is a module that provides a Panels plugin UI for embedding forms for properly configured Entities. This allows users to provide entity add/edit/delete forms inside of Page Manager pages, and to control the visibility and labelling of both Entity Properties as well as Fields. The ability to control Properties (aka meta-data) in the UI is the key advantage provided by EPF. Token support is another useful
What Does EPF Provide
A Content type in Pages called "Entity Panel Form" to add a configurable entity form to a page manager layout.
Control form display (visibility/labelling) of Entity Properties (aka Entity meta-data) in the UI. This is a key advantage, since no other contrib modules, nor the Entity API support display control of properties from the UI.
Control
Provide token support for form pre-population. Both CTools tokens and Token module tokens are supported for default values (in edit forms). Future support is planned for tokens in labels and description.
How this Differs from Other Form Modules
EPF does not CREATE forms, it is a display container for an Entity's own forms, as defined in hook_form, hook_forms, or EntityDefaultUIController::hook_forms().
It currently provides no ability to expand the range of fields displayed (future versions may support multiple entity forms).
It provides the ability to alter a forms appearance inside of panels.
