Phoneword provides a block displaying a click-to-call telephone link that cross-fades between a phone WORD and its corresponding phone NUMBER e.g. "1800 DRUPAL" to "1800 378275". Clicking the link will launch the user's phone number dialler (if installed) or alternatively it can link to a "contact us" page. There's also a little SVG phone handset icon with CSS ringing animation, which can be changed or removed by overriding the CSS.

The phoneword block provides an additional touch of movement, drawing user attention to your "call us" call-to-action. It also solves the problem of displaying both the phone word and number without taking up too much valuable screen real estate.
About Phonewords
Phonewords are mnemonic phrases represented as alphanumeric equivalents of a telephone number, commonly a vanity number like 1800 FLOWERS. Phonewords are memorable and effective, but it's also handy to have the actual number displayed as some cultures and users are less familiar with this practice and some phone keypads don't have letters associated with each number.
Alternative Usage
If, like most of us, you don't have a phone number that spells out a word, you could still use this module and just put a marketing slogan or call-to-action in the phone word field e.g. "CALL US NOW!" or "CLICK 2 CALL".
Installation
Phoneword has no dependencies, so simply install it as you would any other Drupal module.
Configuration
Add the Phoneword block to a region of your theme and configure it to suit. You can adjust the phone word, the phone number, the number that is dialled when clicked, the mouse over tool-tip and the cross-fade timing, as illustrated in the block configuration screenshot.
Theming
The default CSS is minimal but there's plenty of scope to add your own styling. The cross-fading between the phone word and number looks the best with monospaced fonts and when there's the same number of characters in the phone word and number.
