Monfis is a very simple but effective module for monitor status change in files.
This module solved a very common issue of tracking the status of files.
Real scenario:
You have lots of files including txt, doc, pdf etc. All of them are important to your customers and visitors.
One customers tries to download a pdf and sees a 404 Page not Found. You may or may not look at access logs. This module solve this issue. It provide the system administrators an easy view with more options coming in the next release.
Installation
Just install like you normally do and let cron run. Now you can browse to the page and see if anything is ok.
Next will be integration with redirect module. Improving the workflow and the SEO.
