Cassandra Statistics will provide a substitute of Drupal core statistics module allowing for data to be stored outside of Drupal database.
Objectives of the project
----------------------
a) Provide alternative to current database logging of statistics that web masters can keep for ever without worrying about the growing size of access_log table.
b) Provide API that will allow other modules to query stored information.
c) Currently also exploring the possibilities around views integration so that views charts and graphs can be used to display graphical representation of stats
