The ShrinkTheWeb module uses the ShrinkTheWeb (https://shrinktheweb.com) service functionality to cache and display website screenshots (e.g. web pages thumbnails).
This module uses the ShrinkTheWeb API and supports the configuration of the ShrinkTheWeb PRO features in case the user is allowed to use them.

Drupal 8 Notes
The D8 stable release is here! This release incorporates the "Refresh ALL" functionality (to automatically refresh and update all screenshots in your Drupal site), HTTP/HTTPS option, and adds support for the "Notification Callback" feature that automates delivery of screenshot requests to your Drupal site. Enjoy! (and please let us know if you find anything not working as expected)
Drupal 7 Notes
The use of the theme functions has changed (#1113068: Misuse of theme interface and #1113074: Keep links out of theme function). You will have to adjust your calls when you move to 7.x-1.2 and beyond.
Version 7.x-1.2 and beyond includes display formatters for the Link module. When both ShrinkTheWeb and Link are installed, you can show preview images for each link.
Drupal 6 Notes
The module's functionality is accessible only through PHP code and not through simple HTML or JavaScript.
