This module extends the range of weights available for organizing long lists of content, for example book tables of contents or Ubercart attribute options. If you are trying to re-order items in a list and are running into the limits of the default -10 to 10 range of weights, you may benefit from this module.
After installing the module, weights will automatically range from -30 to 30. To change the range extension factor from 3 to some other value, visit admin/settings/weight_range.
