Converts files between supported types on the fly, similar to the way in which imagecache creates modified images. This module does not yet determine whether to create a new file based on the server response, however, but instead simply checks for the file's existence before attempting to create a converted copy.
Currently supported filetypes include PDF, jpeg, tif, png and bmp.
