If you have a ton of users and a ton of roles on your site this module aims to eliminate errors in assigning roles and simply make it easier to keep track of who should be able to do what.

The site admin -

1. defines account types
2. assigns roles to each account type via checkboxes

Either the site admin or user admin -

1. assigns account types to users
2. assigns roles to users based on the limits of the account type

The user -

1. can't tell the difference

Permissions and roles behave as they always have. Account types pretty much just disable the role checkboxes on the user edit page so that the wrong role can't be assigned the user. This is important if you have a person that is a little technically challenged helping to administer users or who doesn't understand that a particular person isn't supposed to be assigned a role just because they requested it.

NEW FEATURE! You can now select roles that will be auto-assigned when the user gets the Account Type assigned to them.

Implements a Views plugin to display tagcloud-like list of everything handled by views, using the tagadelic module.

Together, og_sites_hub and og_sites provide multisite functionality in which a central 'hub' site has a set of associated sites leveraging Organic Groups functionality to selectively share data (nodes and users), such that the hub site has access to all data while associated sites see and edit only their own data plus that specifically shared by the hub site.

OG Sites is rough and incomplete--it was drafted for the first stage of a client project that didn't go forward. Documentation and support are both very limited. There are no current plans to upgrade OG Sites beyond Drupal 5.

Read the contents of a post (aka node) and attaches appropriate taxonomy tags. It uses the Yahoo Term Extractor service to find these tags.

The Picasa module is a complex module that utilizes Google's Picasa API to display Web Albums and Photos as they appear in your account at http://picasaweb.google.com/ .

NTLM Authentication module uses a simple LDAP connection to Windows Active Directory for further authentication. This is still in development and not to be used in production environment.
