Favorite Forum Topics

In a forum (either with Drupal's core Comments or using Advanced Forum), users might be interested in specific topics and want to visit them frequently for discussion or checking new posts. This module allows them to select their favorite topics and handle them separately. The module itself is still a moving target, features will be added as the need arises. The planned features now are:

• providing a link on individual topic pages to include to or remove the topic from among the favorites;
• store the users favorite topics;
• allow the users to manipulate their favorite topics (reordering, adding, deleting);
• a view to display favorite topics (preferably not a separate view but a new forum tool item);
• a block to display new posts in favorite topics;

The module will co-operate fully with Advanced Forum but, if feasible, it will not require it as a dependency. But if it turns out to be necessary for some important features, it will be promoted to a requirement.

The module is written for Drupal 7.
