jQuery News Ticker is a very lightweight, jQuery plugin drupal module which displays news ticker, inspired from the BBC news ticker.
There are prev-next and play-pause controls for quickly navigating through the items.
How to Install
After you activated the module (at "admin/modules"), you can put the block to any region on your page (using "admin/structure/block").
Configuration
You can enter a list of link items or text items in the Item textarea of News Ticker block configure. (admin/structure/block/manage/jquery_news_ticker/news-ticker/configure).
