Duplicate validator

Introduction

This simple module adds additional validation to comments and nodes creation process.

It verifies, if in last several seconds similar node or comment was created. If such situation occurs, this module will block save action and display warning message.

You can also consider http://drupal.org/project/hide_submit as JavaScript based alternative. This module is fully independent from JavaScript and can be considered as additional protection.

 

Usage

After module installation, at admin/settings/duplicate_validator, please select content types, which required additional protection. You can also enable comment validation here. After this initial setup, module doesn't require additional steps and should protect your site from duplicated nodes.
