Note: recent big changes to the Ledger module have broken this module. I plan to fix it soon.
This module provides the ability to import Accounts and Transactions into the Ledger double-entry bookkeeping suite.
Supported filetypes
OFX - Import Transactions from OFX, QFX, or QBO files.
GnuCash - Import Accounts and Transactions from a GnuCash XML file.
If you would like to suggest another type, please feel free. And patches are always welcome!
Ledger Import UI

The Ledger Import UI module provides a nice interface or importing data, for those who aren't accustomed to using Feeds importers. It uses the Feeds Review behind-the-scenes to allow users to review data before importing it to their Ledger.
Dependencies
Ledger Import uses the Feeds module, and the sub-modules provide default importers that depend on Feeds Tamper.
The OFX module depends on Feeds OFX.
The GnuCash module depends on Feeds XPath Parser.
The Ledger Import UI module depends on Feeds Review.
GnuCash Imports
If you are importing a GnuCash file, there are a few things you need to do before you upload it:
- Disable file compression ("Edit" menu → "Preferences" → "General" → "Use file compression").
- Save the file as XML (not SQLite).
