this project binds user profile fields to taxonomy term. When registrating a new user or updating a user profile, checkboxes are display with each term of the vocabulary.
Depending on how many checkbox the user check, it is assigned a float value [0;1] that represents the ratio of checkbox checked over possible checkbox.
The ratio number is then usable by Views with special formatter.
My usecase for this module is for a site of knowledge exchange. When registering, the user checks the skills he has, and depending on how much skilled he is, he'll be granted a certain level.
It integrates with classified add module so adds are automatically created based with user's profile.
It integrates with the geofield module so that user can look for a competency in a specific domain, close to them.
