P3P isn't used by any main stream browser save for Internet Explorer. IE only uses it to muck with cookies and, in particular, with cookies set by requests to an iframe. This module allows you to actually specify a P3P compact description and send a P3P HTTP header along with each page so that IE will do the right thing all the time.
