RESS stands for Responsive Design + Server Side Components
ATTENTION: To work with RESS you will have to deliver mostly dynamically.
This module will help with the server side issues under Drupal. There are currently 2 modules planned :
- core module
> the core module will provide a small javascript to detect the users browsers viewport and stores is into a cookie
- image and ressource delivery
> this will mainly work together with Image_Cache to redirect request to the appropriate set
- globally available "viewport related" information
> all the cookie stored information is globally available
