When do I use Node Asset instead of Asset?
- If you want your assets to take advantage of contributed modules like Automatic Nodetitles, Pathauto, etc.
- If you want your assets to stand alone in addition to being placed in content.
Indexing
When the included Node Asset Index module is enabled, the placement of Node Assets in site content is tracked and accessible to the Views module.
