PA11Y Integration

Overview

The PA11Y Integration module acts as a client for a PA11Y webservice.

A pa11y-webservice provides scheduled accessibility reports for multiple URLs. It runs pa11y on a list of URLs, which you can update and query the results of via a JSON web-service.

pa11y itself is an automated accessibility testing tool, which runs HTML CodeSniffer from the command line for programmatic accessibility reporting.

Features

This module at the moment can submit all your published content to a PA11Y webservice at the click of a button, and provides a full overview report of the results.

Failed submissions can be rerun individually from the reporting page.

Requirements

Requires a PA11Y webservice to be available. See https://github.com/nature/pa11y-webservice/

Known problems

The webservice seems to have issues accepting large number of submissions at once.

To mitigate this all failed tests on the reporting page have a Run this test option which runs each test individually.
