Search Restrict Index

This module aids in indexing nodes of particular content type .Unlike the other modules which actually hides the result of search depending on the content type selected and roles , this module actually restricts the indexing only to the selected content types .
Advantages :
When we have views which depends on Search functionality , the search_index tables has all the nodes which are indexed and the view rendering take longs , especially with exposed filters , and the chances of time out are higher .

Search Restrict Index : adds a list of available content types , in the search configuration admin settings page , from which you can select which content types needs to be indexed .
