Mandrill Simplenews Report

Important

Going forward Mandrill will stop working as it is now becoming an optional add-on to paid MailChimp accounts. To continue using Mandrill, all users will be required to have a paid monthly MailChimp account by 4/27/2016. See Important Changes to Mandrill.

You will need this module only if you are using Mandrill, Web services for Simplenews newsletter sending.

Provides User (E-mail address) centric reports.

Report includes

• Total number of newsletters sent to given address
• Last interaction date
• List of newsletters sent with their subject, date, open count and click count

Features

• Reports are pulled from Mandrill Web services via API calls
• Counts on elysia cron to workaround cron run performance issue
• MyISAM engine is used for report and queuing tables in favor of speed

Usage

• Install as you would do for any contrib module
• Ensure cron jobs are setup as needed. Run manually a couple of times to initiate API calls. Wait for an hour or two to complete the requests and update the same in Drupal tables
• Navigate to Home » Administration » Reports » Mandrill (or path ?q=admin/reports/mandrill/simplenews)
• Click on the newsletter to see it's reports
• Use breadcrumb to navigate across the report pages
• If you don't see any report, check "Recent log messages" for possible error / warning messages

This module requires Mandrill, Simplenews and Elysia cron.
