Blob Relay allows JavaScript to prepare client side data structure for download with proper file name and type which seems not possible yet to do.
De module provides a form for submission through JavaScript.
How to use
After installing visit /admin/config/media/blob-relay.

On submit you get either a text file named error.txt containing
