This module provides HTML5 offline functionality for Drupal sites. This is commonly known as the "HTML5 Appcache", and is supported by most major browsers.
This is a copy of the Drupal project "appcache" by deviantintegral but here are few differences that make this project useful within webapp generation.
This project was made on the occasion of a talk about "Platform First Design" during Drupal Days of Milan 2014.
Features
For a complete feature list please look at the "appcache" module page at https://drupal.org/project/appcache.
Moreover, this module use a conditional approach to appcache usage (allows you to specify the list of pages where the appcache manifest have do appear). Besides it shows an option that allows you to remove "cachebusters" from all js library's and style's files.
Pay attention to this
Add the following to the tag in your theme's page template to include the cache manifest:
<?php if (isset($manifest)) print $manifest; ?>
For example, using the Seven theme, you might end up with an <html> tag in html.tpl.php like this:
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="<?php print $language->language; ?>" version="XHTML+RDFa 1.0" dir="<?php print $language->dir; ?>"<?php print $rdf_namespaces; ?> <?php if (isset($manifest)) print $manifest; ?>>
