Incommunities Distance is a plug-in module designed for the Incommunities Drupal module that allows to share some content of a particular page with a specific geolocalized User in a geographical area or with a users' category as a specific "taxonomy" - for example the tenant of a condominium.
Technical details:
Incomunities Distance search additional information in a Drupal users' table.This module read the field address in user information and calculate the current position.
The additional pieces of information requested by the module are two:
- latitude
- longitude
This kind of information is acquired when the user signs up for the specific Drupal's portal.
The module requires that the geolocation is enabled.
Latitude and longitude are integrated in an implementation function, which allows to visualize the users' content inside the perimeter of the specified distance.
The calculation is made by using Google Maps API provided by Google Server.
INSTALLATION:
This is a standard installation:
- run the zipped package download
- run the installation inside Drupal's portal
