Tenon IO

Overview

The Tenon IO Integration module acts as a client for a Tenon IO webservice.

Tenon.io is a new tool to test web sites against some of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines criteria. While this does not guarantee the usability of a web site, it gives you an idea of where you may have some problems. Due to its API, it can be integrated into workflows for test automation and other building steps for web projects.

Requirements

An account on Tenon.io (http://tenon.io) to get an API key.

7.x-2.x & 8.x-2.x: hopscotch JS library version 0.1.2 (see INSTALL.txt)

Installation

Can be installed like any other Drupal module -- place it in the modules directory for your site and enable it on the admin/build/modules page.

7.x-2.x: download and unpack the hopscotch JS library version 0.1.2 under sites/all/libraries/hopscotch as told in INSTALL.txt
8.x-2.x: download and unpack the hopscotch JS library version 0.1.2 under /libraries as told in INSTALL.txt

In it's current state, with this module you can:

1. Submit all your published content to Tenon.io
2. Submit a node at a time.
3. Schedule a cron task to re-submit unsuccessful submission.

Configure user permissions in Administration -> People -> Permissions:

In admin/config/content/tenon_io you specify the url for the Tenon IO server, the API key to use, and the standard for which to test (WCAG2A, WCAG2AA, WCAG2AAA)

Start Tenon IO tests Submits the tasks, which will submit all published content to the web service

Delete all Tenon IO tests button deletes all the tasks from the webservice

Tenon IO run cron limit A cron run can be scheduled to run any failed requests again, which will eventually results in all the pages getting tested.

To change the number of tasks run per cron, change the Tenon IO run cron limit. This is limited by the capacity of the Tenon IO webservice, and the limit on the account signed up to.

Reporting
In admin/reports/tenon_io you will find an overview of the results of the tests run.

If the Tenon.io show results on page option is selected, those with the appropriate permission can also see the results on each page, as well as test each page independently.
