WHMCS

The WHMCS MODULE fully integrates the WHMCS API into a Drupal website making all information in whmcs available to a Drupal website.

WHMCS is an all-in-one client management, billing & support solution for online businesses. Handling everything from signup to termination.

You must have a licensed version of WHMCS to fully utilize this module and it's sub-modules (we are looking into seeing if there is a demo version available that could be made available for testing/trying We have been informed by WHMCS that because we are a licensed user of WHMCS we have access to a developers installation and license - so we will be installing that for use with this project - as soon as that is set-up we will post access)

Project Plans/Summary:

7.x-1.x tree: (with 7.x-1.x-dev branch and 7.x-1.0-alpha branch thru 7.x-1.0 "stable release")

Ability to call all aspects of the whmcs api into drupal via views blocks placeable anywhere with options for administration as well as blocks for account that reflect a clients/customer/members profile and details from whmcs to drupal.

With the use of the WHM module already in existance we will sync the accounts from whmcs to drupal aligning passwords across everything including cPanel password and login as part of the WHMCS main module.

There will be a sub-module for each major aspect of the whmcs api activatable for those specific features and integration as well as a custom content type. Allowing for better control and flexability across the board.

This set up will work for both Drupal sites installed under the same domain as whmcs with no special configuration to whmcs needed, and for Drupal sites installed on remote locations with the use of an api key. Documentation for everything will be included in configuration and help attached to the module as well as the listed documentation/faq pages. This initial set-up is meant to keep your drupal database and whmcs database seperate (in effect should create a sync in a manner of speaking between the two databases offering in essence an extra layer of data storage - plans are to have options to store just the pieces you initiate in drupal to the database in drupal or pull all the information from whmcs into drupal)

In the 7.x-1.x tree whmcs support api fully functional both ways getting and posting to, that along with user account sync. In 7.x-2.x we plan to add full function both ways all aspects of the whmcs module and sub-modules giving drupal the power to update all aspects of information from product creation to account creation as well as create and manage invoices, billing - etc.
