Addressfield reverse geocode widget

Set default value for an addressfield by reverse-geocoding a geofield.

Installation

• Geocoder needs to be patched: See #1461164: Reverse-Geocode support for patch
• Install the module
• On an entity with a geofield, create (or edit) an addressfield
• Select "Reverse geocoding" as widget
• Specify geofield and geocoding provider
• Save the widget configuration
• At the addressfield display settings: Remember to uncheck "Use the same configuration as the widget."

Current status

The module has working basic functionality, try it out and see if it matches your needs. The mapping from geocoder results to addressfield columns is probably not comprehensive.

Currently, addressfield data is populated from the geocoder results as follows:

• locality: administrative_area_level_3
• country: country
• postal code: postal code
• thoroughfare: route street_number

Maintenance

I will not release this module as a full project before reverse geocoding is available in geocoder, nor without co-maintainers, as I wont have much time to maintain it. If you want to own/co-maintain this module, send me a message or create a request in the issue queue.
