Workbench Preview provides a views handler that allows privileged users to view the latest revision version of content in views across the site, whereas only the published versions will be shown to users without.
It is controlled by a permission so that only users with this are allowed to see the revised content. This allows content editors to see the content exactly how it will look in views across the site before the content is actually published and viewable by other users. There is no longer a need for content to be added on stager to see how it will look, and then again on production.
Images show an example of the filter being used in a basic view with some revised content, the first when viewed by a user with the permission, and the second by a user without permission (just published revisions).
Workbench Preview has a dependancy on the Workbench Moderation module - it uses the data from Workbench Moderation to filter on.
