The Tripal Galaxy module integrates the Galaxy Project software framework with Tripal enabling Tripal-based sites to provide large-data analytical workflows to their users. The benefits include:

  1. Users can execute complicated analytical workflows using the community-database
    infrastructure they are already used to.
  2. The site developers can provide targeted tools for community-specific projects or tools that are commonly needed within the community.
  3. The site developers create workflows "behind-the-scenes" with Galaxy and abstract the workflow away from users.
  4. Tripal can use the power of Galaxy!
