The Scald FlexSlider module adds a player for the Scald Gallery module. It provides integration with FlexSlider through the FlexSlider drupal module.
The base module renders image and video atoms in a FS slider. There are several options on how to handle the scald authors and scald tags fields. You can choose to do nothing specific with them, hide them (through CSS) or create a small overlay in which to view them. These options are, however, experimental and require a recent browser to work (IE8+).
The two submodules included with this project add custom handling for iframe-based video atoms (Scald YouTube, Scald Vimeo, Scald DailyMotion).
- Scald FlexSlider - Responsive Video uses CSS to make the iframe responsive so it always takes up the full width of the slider. Requires recent browser (IE8+).
- Scald FlexSlider - Popup uses Featherlight to render the iframe in a popup, while showing a clickable thumbnail in the slider. Requires recent browser (IE8+) and updated jQuery (1.7+).
