Group Profile

Provides Profile module integration for the Group module.

With Group Profile, you can enable members of a given group to view each other's profiles.

Usage

• Enable this module and its dependencies, Profile and Group.
• Create a new profile type (or use the Personal information main profile type that's created by default). Do not assign the permission "[profile type]: View any profile" to the "Authenticated user" role, since the idea is to limit inter-user profile access to members of the same group.
• Create a new group type.
• Navigate to the manage fields page for the group type and click the link to add a new field. Under "Re-use an existing field", select "Entity reference: profile_type" and click "Save and continue". Configure the field and save.
• For your group type, edit permissions and, under Group Profiles, assign the "View member profiles" permission to the "Member" role.
• Create one or more groups. When creating or editing them, select one or more profile types to associate with the group. Members of the group will be able to view other members' user pages and group member pages and will see there the selected profiles.
