Facets Hardcode is a Drupal 8 Facets path processor similar to Pretty Paths, except it supports shorter, hard-coded path parts which relate to a particular facet.
Take this path:
/products/some-category/f/type/some-type
/products is the facet source URL
some-category is a hardcoded facet path part that relates to the product category.
/f/type/some-type is the rest of the facet string, delineated by the /f/ path part, and after that it works just like Pretty Paths.
Many things are configurable such as:
- The hard-coded path parts and which facets they relate to
- The value to use when one of the hard-coded facets isn't specified (such as "all")
- The path identifier separating the hardcoded part from the dynamic part (such as "f")
- The ability to hardcode a base path for any facet source (such as a Views block)
