AA Engine

AA Engine is a set of Views Features for reports on the installation profile, modules and themes enabled or available on a Drupal website.

By default the page reports are:
admin/modules/aa-engine/aa-engine-report-all
admin/modules/aa-engine/aa-engine-report-on-enabled
admin/modules/aa-engine/aa-engine-report-off-disabled

And, by default blocks available are:

• INSTALL Profile
• Core ON
• Core OFF
• Contrib ON
• Contrib OFF

Placing the blocks in three column or four column arrangements during scrums or sprints with clients on a development machine or even on a test or live client site to give them an outline of what components are at work, or can be put to work, are scenarios where AA Engine can be used. Also for troubleshooting sites or comparing dev-stage-live site configurations. This is alternate to Module Filter in a way. Test modules can be filtered as well, which gives you an indication of how much of an expert certain module developers are, by including a test as professionals should as part of module package. While the module/theme engine view is a trivial view to set up by seasoned drupalist, the extra report pages and exposed blocks with filters with presets are a big time saver.

• figure out why views will not display profile folders for module and themes
• bridge gap with Backup and Migrate to backup just module sets via folders
• push or pull reports into Backup and Migrate advanced backup notes and profile update before the backup
• integrate with Client UI Control?
• content type for drupal projects, with fields and show create/edit project notes next to list
