Openforis server

Openforis and Openforis client are a set of modules that enable remote authentication between Drupal and non Drupal sites.

One Drupal site acts as a authentication server providing users and profile data for them and other sites can connect their user base to the server.

It is similar to the old Drupal external authentication module or users table sharing with the following differences:

• Built using Services.
• Works between Drupal and non Drupal sites.
• Sites do not have to be on the same server and share anything (tables etc).
• CCK user profiles are supported.
• Each site can choose what profile fields to sync.
• Users can have different usernames on separate sites in the network.
• Users can authenticate with email address or username used on another site in the network.
