Module aims to comply with the EU Cookie Laws affecting EU based website.
In Summary the law states that websites must seek permission before setting cookies, as an opt-in approach rather than an opt-out approach. The Law has been deferred for one year, and with any luck will be binned as unworkable. But there is no harm in being prepared. http://bit.ly/p6S3BM
Cookies in Drupal are first activated when a user signs in. However, the EU law states that cookies requiring permission are those which are not essential to the working of the site. Modules using cookies for activities other than logging in are therefore in question: e.g. google analytics.
