OBSOLETE: Tripal GMOD RPC

This project implements the GMOD REST API described here:http://gmod.org/wiki/GMOD_REST_API. As such a number of services including organism and feature listings are made available which provide data to external users in XML/JSON format. This allows for easy parsing and integration of data from one website for use in another -effectively linking communities. Furthermore, this provides a more bioinformaticist-friendly version of the data contained in your site.

NOTE: This project has stalled due to lack of developer time. Furthermore, it is likely to be superseded by a new project known as Tripal Exchange, 2015-2017, which has secured funding to work out the problem of data exchange between Tripal sites through web services.
