User Request Name is just a small module that offers a way for users to retrieve their username when they forget it. It will send the user an email containing only their username after a user provides an email address.
The idea was to create a lightweight module that also offers support for i18n (internationalization) and does not offer any other functionality. Hence, when the 1.0 version is released, do not expect to much happening, that's not the focus of this module.
The Account Reminder module also offers interesting functionality you might want to consider, it sends out reminder e-mails after a period of time if the user didn't log in yet, reminding them they registered to the site.
