Original Author

This module keeps track of who created a node, regardless of author attribution. This can be helpful if you want to show users a list of content that they created OR that has been attributed to them.

As an example, the MASt module provides services for allowing content creation via a mobile app. It allows users to change the author of the post they are creating if they have the 'administer nodes' permission, and it also provides a content-by-user listing resource. Without the original_author module, this content-by-user listing would not display a node that a user had just created if they had attributed it to somebody else.
